Your article, “Left the Faith,” is a challenging and comforting reminder of the goodness and gracious mercy extended to penitent sinners. We are also reminded that it is the at the sovereign, good pleasure of our God to bless sinners with the gifts of repentance and faith. I am challenged, once again, to continue pleading for the salvation of my lost loved ones and friends. Thank you for this sobering reminder to never take His mercy for granted.

Thank you for reminding me of the blessings of being part of the Covenant Community of our Lord Jesus Christ. My wife and I have been overwhelmed with love from our brothers and sisters in Christ this past year. We lost my father-in-law in January and my mother in June. My mother-in-law is in the last stages of cancer as I write this note. My 88 year old father is grieving over the loss of my mother and actively involved in the Care Ministry of his church back home in West Virginia. Praise be to the God of All Grace.

this verse is my Vision for the ministry God has laid on my heart, I am not against new things however a new thing should always be better or it is wrong. check out the business world they must be careful with new things if they don’t work they lose and if it does work they win
God wants our relationship with him to be as fresh or fresher now than when we first met him!

I agree with your take. It doesn’t seem that he gave himself time to mature in the faith, and is still looking at the works of man as the works of God.

"I don’t know if we’d say an embryo is alive or not, but it at least has the potential for life." Embryos and zygotes are alive! They are individually whole human persons. See Libertarians for Life science page here. "As demonstrated above, scientifically there is absolutely no question whatsoever that the immediate product of fertilization is a newly existing human being. A human zygote is a human being. It is not a "potential" or a "possible" human being. It's an actual human being — with the potential to grow bigger and develop its capacities." As for ahoak's question about embryo freezing, you can do a lot to an elderly person that you cannot do on an embryo or zygote.
